イギリス・ウィンザーのテーマパーク「レゴランド」を訪れていた6歳の少女たちが男から性的暴行を受けたとして、母親たちがBBCの番組に出演し、心情を述べた。
旅行中に性的暴行を受けた幼い少女たちの母2人が、悲惨な暴行事件について語った。
6歳の少女たちは8月11日、夏休みを利用してレゴランドを訪れ、海賊をテーマにしたエリア「キャスタウェイ・キャンプの砦」で一人の男から暴行を受けた。
PA通信によると、子供たちは午後12時15分から12時30分の間に暴行を受けた。警察は犯人逮捕のためにBBCの事件捜査番組「クライム・ウォッチ」で犯人逮捕につながる情報の提供を呼びかけた。
一人の母は番組にこう語った。「私は娘たちが外に出て迷子になることが心配でした。なので、入口にいて子供たちが出てくるのを待っていました。中にもうひとり大人がいるなんて思いもしませんでした」
テムズバレー警察による犯人のE-Fit（コンピュータが作成した似顔絵）。
テムズバレー警察は8月、「このような犯罪は極めてまれだ。レゴランドと密に連携し、犯人特定のために尽力している」と述べている。
犯人は白人で、身長約170cm以下、暗い色のスリムフィットパンツ、運動靴を履き、暗い色のTシャツを着ていたという。
男は被害に遭った少女たちが知らない人物だったという。
