11月14日の夜、マドンナが世界に音楽の力を見せた。

世界ツアー「レベル・ハート」のスウェーデン・ストックホルム公演のステージ上で、マドンナがパフォーマンスを中断し、観客に13日のテロ犠牲者と、その遺族に向けた黙祷への参加を求めた。

「この公演をここまで続けてきたことは、私にとってとても大変なことでした。そして、起きたことを忘れません」とマドンナは語ったが、感情の高ぶりから声が途切れていた。「私には、この時間を使って伝える必要があります。あの悲劇を……、昨夜フランスで起きた、貴重な命を無駄に奪った行為を」

パリのテロ事件を受けて、マドンナは公演を続けることを誓い、そうしなければ、犯行グループの勝利を認めることになると発言した。

「人々が愛する人を失ったことを嘆いているときに、なぜ私はこの舞台に上がって、楽しく踊っているのでしょうか?」と、彼女は観衆に尋ねた。「彼らがしたいことが、これなのです。彼らは、私たちを黙らせたいのです。私たちを、意気消沈させたいのです。ですが、私たちはそうはさせません。彼らの思い通りにはさせません」
