ミニストップで偽装米おにぎり販売か　レシートで返金も

ミニストップは、国産米として販売したおにぎりなどに、中国産のコメが混入していた疑いがあると発表した。

コンビニチェーンのミニストップは8月29日、国産米として販売したおにぎりなどに、中国産の米が混入していた疑いがあることを発表した。イオンなどに産地偽装米を卸していたことで問題となった三瀧商事（三重県四日市市）に精米作業を委託しており、精米されたコメが納入される過程で、中国産のコメが混入した可能性があるという。

偽装米が使われた疑いがあるのは、愛知県・岐阜県・三重県・静岡県（一部）のミニストップ店舗において、2009年2月から2013年9月までに販売された、お弁当・おにぎり・寿司など。ミニストップは、偽装米が混入した恐れのある商品を購入した客には、レシートがあれば返金に応じるとしている。

ミニストップは三瀧商事による産地偽装が発覚した2013年9月、使用していたコメに問題はなかったとしてホームページ上で告知していた。しかし、警察などから指摘を受けて再調査した結果、偽装の可能性があるとかわったという。

三瀧商事による偽装米問題が発覚した当時、ミニストップは指定した産地以外のものは使用していない旨の報告を三瀧商事から受けていたことや、DNA鑑定でも異常がみられなかったことなどから、偽装米が混入した可能性はないものと判断していた。

China has had a slew of issues with tainted milk for the past several years.
