三菱自動車、日産の傘下に 両社の狙いは

燃費データの不正問題を起こした三菱自動車に対し、日産自動車が約3割出資する方向で調整に入った。

燃費データの不正問題を起こした三菱自動車に対し、日産自動車が約3割出資する方向で調整に入った。日産が筆頭株主となる方針で、事実上、日産の傘下に入る見通し。5月11日、毎日新聞などが報じた。

三菱自と日産は2011年、折半出資で軽自動車の共同企画会社を設立。日産ブランドの軽自動車を三菱自動車の工場で生産するなど、協力関係にあった。両社は12日にそれぞれ取締役会を開き、資本業務提携の交渉入りを決議する。

日産とルノー、三菱自動車を合わせると、世界全体の販売台数はトヨタ自動車やフォルクスワーゲンに迫る規模となり、両社の提携が業界再編の呼び水となる可能性もある

両社の狙いについて、NHKは以下のように報じている。

三菱自動車は燃費の不正を行っていた主力の軽自動車の生産と販売を停止して国内販売が大幅に落ち込んでいるなか、日産の傘下に事実上、入ることで研究開発力を強化したいねらいがあるものとみられます。

一方、日産としては三菱自動車がタイなどに生産拠点を置いて主力市場としている東南アジアの販売力を高めたいねらいがあるものとみられます。

■三菱、「RVR」も不正計算か

三菱自は11日、燃費データ不正問題の社内調査結果を国土交通省に再報告した。改ざんしていた軽自動車4車種以外に、スポーツタイプ多目的車(SUV)「RVR」などでも燃費試験データを机上で計算していた可能性があると発表した。1991年以降、ほぼ全ての車種で違法なデータ測定をしていたことも明かした。

また、従来は軽4車種で実際の燃費がカタログより「5〜10%程度」悪いとしていたが、一部では15%程度に悪化すると明らかにした

国交省は「全容解明にかなり遠い内容」として、18日までの再報告を求めており、再度の立ち入り検査も検討するとしている。
