［ストックホルム １３日 ロイター］ - スウェーデン王立科学アカデミーは１３日、２０１４年のノーベル経済学賞をフランスのエコノミスト、ジャン・ティロール氏に授与すると発表した。
産業界の市場支配力や規制についての研究が授賞理由。
同アカデミーは「ジャン・ティロール氏は現代の最も影響力があるエコノミストの１人」と評し、「複数の強力な企業が支配する業界をどのように理解し、規制するかを明らかにした」と説明した。
賞金は８００万スウェーデン・クローナ（１１０万ドル）。
