東京都奥多摩町にある小河内（おごうち）ダムが、「大変なことになってる」と話題だ。Googleマップでこのダムを英語表示すると、「Shoganai Dam」と表示されるのだという。
26日午後7時半現在でも、同様の現象が確認された。
なお、石原慎太郎・元東京都知事によると、このダムはかつて建設が反対され、「しょうがない」ダムだと揶揄されたことがあったという。しかし、建設後に日照りがあった時に、このダムが役立ったとしており、「東京にとって不可欠な水がめ」と評価していた。
