橋下市長、オスプレイ飛行訓練受け入れを安倍首相に提案。報道に対する橋下市長の声は?

日本維新の会共同代表の橋下徹大阪市長と松井一郎幹事長(大阪府知事)は6日、安倍晋三首相および菅義偉官房長官と首相官邸で会談し、沖縄に配備されている米軍の新型輸送機・オスプレイの飛行訓練の一部を、大阪で受け入れる用意があるという考えを伝えた。菅氏は「しっかり考えてみる」「全国で沖縄の負担を分かち合うという点で歓迎したい」と評価したと朝日新聞デジタルが報じている。

オスプレイの飛行訓練の候補地としては、国土交通省が管理する八尾空港(大阪府八尾市)が有力になっていた。八尾空港は、陸上自衛隊や大阪府警、大阪市消防局のヘリコプターが配備されているだけで、定期便は就航していない。周囲には住宅密集地が広がっている。

オスプレイの訓練を大阪府で受け入れる意向を、橋下大阪市長および松井知事が固めたとされるのは2日。この報道を受けて八尾市長は、松井知事に対して遺憾の意を表明している。

本市では、これまでセスナ機の市街地での墜落事故や、ヘリの落着事故が、近年において発生しており、市民の不安感はぬぐえない状況の中で、市街地内にある八尾空港が選択されることは、本市として反対であり、受け入れできないものであります。

今回の会談のニュースが流れた6日、橋下市長はTwitterで下記のように発信している。

橋下大阪市長の行動に対して、Twitterでは越権行為などとする声が上がっている。

なお、橋下大阪市長は5日、記者からのオスプレイの訓練受け入れ表明は支持挽回のためかとの質問に対し、下記のように回答している。

挽回になりますかね。和歌山県知事も(八尾空港がある大阪府)八尾市長も、あらゆる人たちが反対って言ってる。選挙のことを考えたら、大阪で票を減らすし、言わない方がいいに決まってる。

また、大阪市長の言動ばかりに目が行き、沖縄の声を報じていないのはおかしいのではないかという声も出ている。
