パッキャオ vs メイウェザー、世紀の対決は何時に始まる？

世紀の対決として注目が集まるプロボクシングの世界ウエルター級王座統一戦、メイウェザーとパッキャオの戦い。日本時間では何時に始まるのか、またどこで生中継するのか。

世紀の対決として注目が集まるプロボクシングの世界ウエルター級王座統一戦、フロイド・メイウェザー（アメリカ）とマニー・パッキャオ（フィリピン）が、いよいよ近づいてきた。5月1日には前日計量が試合会場のアメリカ・ネバダ州ラスベガスで行われ、メイウェザーが66.2キロ、パッキャオが65.7キロで、ともに1回でパスした。時事ドットコムなどが報じた。

悪役メイウェザー、善玉パッキャオの図式が浸透しているためか、会場のモニターにメイウェザーの姿が映るたびに地元米国にもかかわらず大きなブーイング。逆にパッキャオには温かい声援が送られた。

シカゴから訪れたクリステル・ピッカリングさん（２４）は「みんなメイウェザーが勝つと思っているから、私はパッキャオを応援する」。勝敗の行方については「４回までにパッキャオがＫＯで勝つ」と自信満々に予測した。

メイウェザーは「何も恐れることはない。今までの47戦を見れば分かる」と語り、一方のパッキャオは「ファンは私の勝利を望んでいる。大きな責任がある。両方のファンは素晴らしい試合を見る資格がある」と話した。

この試合、現地ラスベガスでは2日午後6時に始まる。日本時間では3日（日）午前10時となる。また、日本ではBS放送のWOWOWが生中継する。
