アメリカのブッシュ前大統領が描いた各国の首脳経験者や著名人の肖像画が4月4日（現地時間）、テキサス州ダラスのブッシュ大統領記念図書館で報道関係者らに公開された。日本の小泉純一郎元首相の絵もあり、5日から6月上旬まで展示される。朝日新聞デジタルが報じた。
ブッシュ氏は、絵を描くことを趣味としていた英国のチャーチル元首相の本を読んで触発され、２年前から絵を描くようになった。小泉氏のほか、ブレア元英首相やロシアのプーチン大統領など、２０人以上の絵が展示されている。

日本の小泉元首相のコーナーには2006年にブッシュ氏が小泉氏とテネシー州メンフィスにある、エルビス・プレスリー邸を訪れた写真なども飾られているという。
