イギリス王室は同日、キャサリン妃が撮影したジョージ王子の写真を公開。水色のリュックを背負ったジョージ王子は、同園のカラフルな壁の前に立っているカメラに視線を送っている。
この日はウィリアム王子夫妻が送迎し、ジョージ王子は保育園を楽しんだ。
王子の通う保育園は、「自主性を重んじる教育方針」で知られており、故・ダイアナ妃がチャールズ皇太子と結婚する前に働いていた保育園の教育方針と同じだという。
ノーフォーク州のウェストエーカー・モンテッソーリ保育園
テレグラフ紙によると、同幼稚園は23年前に設立。イギリスの教育監査局による調査では、4段階の上から2番目となる「良い」の評価を受けた。1時間あたりの費用は5.5ポンド（約990円）、1日預けると33ポンド（約6000円）になる。園児27人のうち23人が、政府の補助によって週15時間まで保育料が無料の庶民的な施設だという。
ウィリアム王子が初めて保育園に登園した日に比べると、報道陣は控えめだったようだ。
