イギリスのロックバンド、ザ・ローリング・ストーンズが2月26日、8年ぶり6度目の来日公演を東京ドームでスタート。約5万人を熱狂させたという。朝日新聞デジタルなどが報じた。

「サティスファクション」「スタート・ミー・アップ」などのヒット曲を次々と披露すると、満員の会場は大歓声に包まれた。



冒頭、ボーカルのミック・ジャガーさん(70)は、「帰ってきたぞ、トーキョー」と日本語であいさつして会場を沸かせた。

約2時間で20曲を披露。事前に「東京で演奏してほしい曲」の投票を公式サイトで実施、リクエストに応えて選ばれた6曲を演奏したという。中盤からは、黄金期にギタリストを務めたミック・テイラーもゲスト出演した。

約2時間で「ミッドナイト・ランブラー」「サティスファクション」など20曲。締まった体のミックは花道を軽やかにステップしながらシャウトし、相棒のキースは円熟味を増した演奏で魅了した。バンドの黄金期と呼ばれた69年から74年までギタリストを務めたミック・テイラー(65)も中盤からゲスト出演。年齢を感じさせない熱演に、最高8万円席の観客らも総立ちで声援を送り続けた。
