Roundabout(06 of10)
Open Image ModalView On Black\n\nI downloaded some software a few weeks ago ("Hugin") which merges photos together. It is in some ways totally remarkable; it is fully automatic, and can produce some amazing panoramas. This image, for instance, was made from 21 separate shots. But at the same time, it\'s not magical, and if you take pictures of things close to the camera, it can run into inconsistencies for which there is no solution. (or, no solution in its model space.) If you go in and look at this one closely, you can see some very minor discrepancies. I\'ve not compared it to other photostitching software.\n\nBy the way, here is what it looked like while the traffic circle was still under construction. (credit:theilr/Flickr)
