「県民の不安に応えるためにも、いったん止めて再点検してほしい」と述べ、熊本地震の影響や原発周辺の活断層について調査、点検するよう求めた。

三反園知事、川内原発停止を九電に要請 「再点検を」

鹿児島県の三反園訓(みたぞのさとし)知事は26日、県庁で九州電力の瓜生道明社長に、川内原発(鹿児島県薩摩川内市)を直ちに停止するよう要請した。「県民の不安に応えるためにも、いったん止めて再点検してほしい」と述べ、熊本地震の影響や原発周辺の活断層について調査、点検するよう求めた。

瓜生社長は「社に持ち帰って内容をしっかり確認し検討したい。様々な人と論議したい」と述べた。

要請書で三反園知事は、「原発を運転する者として、県民の不安に真摯(しんし)に向き合い、思いに応える責務がある」と指摘。原発を直ちに停止するよう求めた。

また、自治体が策定する避難計画についても言及。避難道路や避難車両の確保を支援することなどは「事業者として、当然、対応すべき課題」と位置づけ、支援体制の強化を求めた。

三反園知事は今月19日、川内原発周辺を視察。住民からは災害時の情報提供に不安の声が寄せられたといい、「包み隠さず、適時かつ正確な情報」を発信するよう要請した。

申し入れに対し、九州電力は9月上旬までに回答する考えだ。もともと川内原発1号機は10月に、2号機は12月にそれぞれ法律にもとづく定期検査に入る予定で、九電はそれまでは稼働を続けたい考えだ。一方で情報公開の強化などは前向きに検討しており、どう対応するかが焦点になる。
