シンガポール発ミラノ行きのボーイング777型シンガポール航空（SIA）機が6月27日午前7時（現地時間）ごろ、エンジントラブルで引き返したチャンギ国際空港でエンジン火災を起こした。乗客は無事という。NHKニュースなどが報じた。
火災があったのは、SQ368便、ボーイング777−300ER型機。離陸から約2時間後、エンジントラブルのため引き返すとのアナウンスがあり、午前6時50分（現地時間）頃、右エンジンから発火した。乗客222人、乗員19人は全員避難して無事だった。
シンガポールの地元テレビ局、チャンネルニュースエイジアはTwitter上に乗客提供の映像を掲載。激しく燃え上がる炎が収められている。

It was leg 1 of a pretty long 4 leg trip. Flying from DFW to SFO was a pretty bumpy ride that day. As we were nearing SFO above the clouds towards the end of the day, the sun cast a perfect warm glow over the wing, engine and sky. This was the perfect moment where everything just seemed to burst into light. Shot and processed on an iPhone 4S.
