スペースX「Falcon 9」ロケット爆発事故、その瞬間（動画）

アメリカ・フロリダ州ケープ・カナベラルで9月1日、発射前テスト中だったスペースX社のロケット「Falcon 9（ファルコン9）」が爆発し炎上した。けが人はいなかった。

「USLaunchReport」が入手した爆発事故の動画を見ると、ロケットの上部で起こった小さな発火がすぐに広がって爆発に至ったのが分かる。

スペースX社CEOのイーロン・マスク氏はこの事件の後に、爆発は「上段の酸素タンク」付近で推進剤の注入作業中に起こったものの原因は不明、とツイートした。

今日、推進剤の注入作業中にファルコン型ロケットを失う。ロケット上段の酸素タンク付近から発火。原因不明。続報を予定。

爆発直後の現場付近を映した2つ目の動画では、発射台から大きな噴煙が立ち上っているのがわかる。

同社は、続くツイートで事故をマスク氏の説明に沿ってくわしく解説し、「発射台からは全員が退避済みでけが人はいなかった」と付け加えている。

スペースX社は今のところ、ハフポストUS版の取材に応えていない。
