特区で「公立学校民営化」のワケ\n\n政府は10月18日の日本経済再生本部会合において、「国家戦略特区」における規制緩和の一つに、公立学校運営の民間委託を認める「公設民営学校の設置」を検討することを正式に決定しました。安倍首相は教育再生の目標として、初等中等教育段階からグローバル化に対応した教育を行うとし、2018年までに国際バカロレア認定校を200校に増加させるとしています。しかし、これらのグローバルな教育を行うための教員人材を確保することは現在の公立学校では難しいため、民間に学校運営を委託したいというのが、公立学校を運営する各都道府県や市町村などの希望のようです。 (credit:Huffington Post)
