東電 被災者の個人情報を屋外のゴミ箱に捨てていた　49人分は「紛失」

東京電力は10月10日、福島第一原発の事故で避難している被災者の個人情報227人分を、東京都江東区にある執務室の屋外のゴミ箱に捨て、そのうち49人分を紛失していたと発表した。

東京電力は10月10日、福島第一原発の事故で避難している被災者の個人情報227人分を、執務室の屋外のゴミ箱に捨て、そのうち49人分を紛失していたと発表した。

ゴミ箱に捨てたとされるのは、被災者からの不動産の損害賠償請求に備えて取得した不動産登記簿の写しなど227人分。東電が業務委託した会社の60歳代の男性が、8日午後0時半ごろ、当該書類を手で破って福島原子力補償相談室の執務室（東京都江東区有明３丁目）屋外のゴミ箱に捨ててしまった。約2時間後、近傍の緑地帯にこの書類が破れて落ちているのを東電社員が発見。すみやかに警察署に届け出て周辺道路を捜索したが、49名分の書類がまだ回収できていないという。ゴミ箱に捨てた書類が、緑地帯に落ちていた原因もわかっていない状態だ。

個人情報が含まれる原子力損害賠償の書類については、東電は溶解処理して廃棄するという社内ルールを設けていた。今回の事故については、書類廃棄のルールを、社員・委託員に周知徹底を図るとしている。

書類に記載されていた個人情報はすべて登記簿情報であり、パソコン等からダウンロードできる法務省の有料サービス（登記情報提供サービス）により、一般公開されている情報ではありますが、関係行政機関に本件についてご説明するとともに、ご迷惑をおかけした227名の方々に対して、今後、個別に手紙にてお詫びをさせていただく予定です。
