テレンス・リー容疑者を逮捕 幸福実現党トクマ氏の応援報酬、受け取った疑い

7月10日に投開票された参院選で候補者応援の報酬として現金を受け取ったとして、警視庁捜査2課は7月26日、公選法違反(買収)の疑いで、神奈川県相模原市のタレント、テレンス・リー(本名・加藤善照)容疑者ら3人を逮捕した。

7月10日に投開票された参院選で候補者応援の報酬として現金を受け取ったとして、警視庁捜査2課は7月26日、公選法違反(買収)の疑いで、神奈川県相模原市のタレント、テレンス・リー(本名・加藤善照)容疑者ら3人を逮捕した。時事ドットコムなどが報じた。

朝日新聞デジタルによると、テレンス容疑者は政治団体「幸福実現党」から、東京選挙区で出馬したトクマ(本名・椙杜徳馬)氏の応援演説をした見返りとして、陣営関係者から会社役員を通して5万円を受け取った疑いで、この2人とともに逮捕された。

スポニチでは捜査2課の情報として、テレンス容疑者は現金を受け取ったことは認めていると報じた。ただし「報酬とは思っていない」という趣旨の供述をしており、犯意を否認しているという。

■テレンス・リー氏とは?

テレンス・リー氏は、タレントとしてテレビ・ラジオなどで幅広く活躍している。

公式サイトでは、「横浜市鶴見区出身。1983年に遊学中のロンドンでスカウトされ傭兵となる。世界各地を転戦し、1992年傭兵を引退後、一時期アメリカでボディーガードになった。1993年に帰国し、日雇い作業員から予備校講師まで様々な職業を経験。2000年以降は、ストーカー被害者の救済にあたる危機管理専門コンサルタントとして活動。2002年、経歴を週刊誌に取り上げられたことをきっかけにテレビ出演するようになった」という趣旨のことが書かれている
