Fire crews had to use liquid dish soap to rescue a woman who went down the chimney of a home of a man she briefly dated. Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa, 30, was found trapped in a chimney in Thousand Oaks, California, for several hours on Sunday (19 Oct) after neighbours heard the woman screaming at around 6:00am. She reportedly had been trapped since 3:00am. Ventury County Fire Department firefighters had to slowly chip away the bricks in order to facilitate her rescue. Nunez-Figueroa was finally pulled out of the chimney at around 8:13am. It is allegedly not the first time she tried to enter the house. The homeowner, identified only as Lawrence, said the pair had been on six dates after meeting on the internet before he broke things off. \"She seemed totally cool until the first flag was her actually being on my roof two weeks ago,\" he told KTLA.
