辻上裕章さん「一番魅力は笑顔」 澤穂希さんの夫が会見

サッカー女子日本代表「なでしこジャパン」のMF澤穂希選手と結婚した、J1ベガルタ仙台の強化・育成部の辻上裕章さんが12日に取材に応じ、「彼女の一番の魅力は笑顔」と明かした。

サッカー女子日本代表「なでしこジャパン」のMF澤穂希選手(36=INAC神戸)と8月8日に結婚した、J1ベガルタ仙台の強化・育成部の辻上裕章さん(38)が8月12日、仙台市内で取材に応じ、「彼女の一番の魅力は笑顔」と明かした。時事ドットコムなどが報じた。

辻上氏も当時J2の仙台でプレー経験を持つ元Jリーガー。澤選手を妻にすることには重圧も感じたというが「一度しかない人生で、一度しか出会えない女性。一緒に手を取り合って進んでいこうと決断した」。

お互いを「ほー」「ひろっちゃん」と呼び合っているという。二世誕生については「芝の上で親子でボールを蹴れれば楽しいだろうなという気持ちがある」と話した。

澤選手とは10年来の友人だったが、恋人に意識が変わったのは、1月上旬に澤選手の自主トレのランニングに自転車で並走した時。「違ったサポートの形の感情が芽生えました」と話す

辻上さんは群馬県出身。アメリカのニューマンスミス高から早大に進み、卒業後は当時J2の仙台に入団し、DFとしてプレー。1年で現役を引退して2001年から柏の強化本部に在籍、ペリマン監督の通訳などを務めた。共同通信社に出向して運動記者として働き、ロンドン支局に駐在した経験もある。

帰国後は日本サッカー協会に出向、2012年ロンドン・オリンピックでは男子サッカー代表の広報担当を務めた。現在は仙台の強化・育成担当。
