台風18号上陸 京都で桂川が氾濫 「こんなに避難勧告を見るの初めて」

台風18号の影響でこれまでこれまでに経験したことのないような大雨になっているとして、気象庁は16日午前5時5分、滋賀、京都、福井の3府県に「特別警報」を発表した。京都府は午前9時58分、福井県は午前10時56分に、それぞれ警報に切り替えた。特別警報の発表は8月30日の運用開始以来初めてだ。Twitterでは氾濫する川の写真が投稿されるなど驚きと不安の声で溢れた。

■大阪市の一部地域で避難勧告

大和川が危険水位へ到達したため大阪市内の一部地域で避難勧告が発令された。Twitterでは初めて避難勧告を経験したといったツイートが投稿されている。

■京都市では桂川・宇治川の水位が上昇

京都市では桂川の水位上昇に伴い右京区や西京区、南区など26万人余りに避難勧告よりも拘束力が強い避難指示が出されている。観光地としても有名な嵐山の渡月橋にも水が溢れているほか、金閣寺では鏡湖池の水位が上昇している様子が臨済宗相国寺派サイトのライブカメラに映し出され、「水没する」などのツイートが投稿されている。
