ピッチ上では最も成功していると言える2クラブですが、レピュコムではオフザピッチでの調査を行いました。データを比較してみると、やはり、バルセロナの優位性が目立ちます。

年間のテレビとラジオの放映権料は、バルセロナが1億6100万ユーロ(222億円)、ユベントスが1億5100万ユーロ(209億円)とほぼ同じですが、スポンサーシップや広告収入では大きく差がつきました。

2013/14シーズンのデータでは、ユベントスの6000万ユーロ(83億円)に対し、バルセロナは1億6000万ユーロ(221億円)と倍以上。スポンサーの数では、ユベントスの27に対し、バルセロナは36の契約が結ばれています。

また、バルセロナのカンプノウで行われたホームゲームでの平均観客動員数は7万6737人(収容:約10万人)で、ユヴェントス・スタジアムのゲーム平均観客動員数3万8446人(収容:約4万1000人)の2倍。チケット収入にも大きな差が生まれています。

そして、今季クラブに所属する全選手の市場価値の合計は、バルセロナは推定5億9200万ユーロ(818億円)、ユーベは約3億2000ユーロ(442億円)とされています。

世界中でクラブに興味を持っている人の数もまた大きく差が出ており、ユベントスの2億9000万人に対し、5億4000万の人々がバルサに興味を持っていると答えています。

英語版のソーシャルメディアで比べると、Facebookではバルサが約8300万人と、ユベントスの1800万人の4倍以上のファン数を誇り、Twitter上ではその差がさらに大きくなっています。

しかし、Twitterでは今季中にバルセロナが19%ファン数を増加させたのに対し、ユベントスは30%も増加させています。彼らは280万回のエンゲージメント(リツイートやお気に入りなどの何らかのアクション)を獲得しており、もしそれらの人々をうまく囲い込むことができれば、更なる収益を得ることが可能だと考えられます。

ソーシャルメディアは、バルセロナほどのファン数を持っていないクラブでも、収益を追加させる力があるのです。
