ウクライナのポロシェンコ大統領は6月4日、ロシアから「本格的な侵攻」を受ける恐れがあると議会で演説した。ウクライナは親ロシア派と激しい戦闘を行い、形骸化している停戦合意が破綻する危機にさらされている。ロイターなどが報じた。

BBCによると、ロシアはウクライナ領内にロシア軍が駐留していることを否定しているが、ポロシェンコ大統領はおよそ9000人のロシア軍部隊が配備されていると述べ、「ウクライナ軍はロシアの本格侵攻に備える必要がある」と述べた。また、ヤツェニュク首相は「ロシアがテロリストに軍事侵攻を命令した」と非難した。

CNNによると、3日に東部のドネツク州のマリインカで親ロシア派の武装勢力およそ200人がウクライナ政府軍の支配地域に対して激しい攻撃を行った。親ロシア派は政府軍が迫撃砲を発射したと主張し、15人が死亡したと発表した。

マリインカはウクライナ西部につながる高速道路があるウクライナの支配領域で、親ロシア派が制圧した地域との境界線を監視する検問所がある。

2月15日に停戦合意が発効し、東部の要衝デバリツェボが親ロシア派に制圧されて政府軍が撤退して以来、親ロシア派が再び勢力を拡大したことにウクライナ政府は危機感を強めている。
