国際オリンピック委員会(IOC)は31日、マレーシアのクアラルンプールで総会を開始、アルマトイ(カザフスタン)と北京が争う2022年冬季オリンピック・パラリンピックの開催都市を決める。

国際オリンピック委員会(IOC)は7月31日、マレーシアのクアラルンプールで総会を開始、アルマトイ(カザフスタン)と北京が争う2022年冬季オリンピック・パラリンピックの開催都市を決める。時事ドットコムなどが伝えた。


立候補しているアルマトイ(カザフスタン)、北京の招致演説に続いて、IOC委員による投票を午後4時15分(日本時間同5時15分)から実施。開催都市は同5時30分(同午後6時30分)開始のセレモニーで発表される。

北京が選ばれれば08年の夏季に続き、史上初の夏冬両五輪開催。アルマトイなら中央アジアで初の五輪開催となる。どちらが選ばれても、18年冬季の平昌(韓国)、20年夏季の東京に続いて3大会連続でアジア開催となる。
