［北京 １１日 ロイター］ - アジア太平洋経済協力会議（ＡＰＥＣ）首脳会議は１１日、首脳宣言を発表し、中国が後押しする自由貿易の枠組み「アジア太平洋自由貿易圏（ＦＴＡＡＰ）」を推進する方針をあらためて示した。総意に基づき、段階的に推進する。２年間にわたって研究を進める方針も表明した。
ＦＴＡＡＰをめぐっては、米国が主導する環太平洋経済連携協定（ＴＰＰ）への関心をそらす手段との見方も出ている。
首脳宣言は「ＡＰＥＣは、ＦＴＡＡＰをビジョンから現実に移すための孵卵器（インキュベーター）としての、より重要で意義のある貢献を進めることで合意した」と明記。
「ＦＴＡＡＰはＡＰＥＣの枠外で、ＡＰＥＣのプロセスと並行して実現される。ＦＴＡＡＰの実現に向けた貢献について、ＡＰＥＣは拘束力のない自主的な協力の原則を維持する」としている。
