【ボージョレ・ヌーボー2014】解禁、ソムリエ「今年は豊作、味に厚みと深さを感じる」

ボージョレ解禁、「お祭り消費」は減少 輸入量減る

フランス産ワインの新酒「ボージョレ・ヌーボー」の販売が20日午前0時に始まった。東京のイオン品川シーサイド店ではタレントや来店客らが乾杯し、新酒の解禁を祝った。催しに参加したソムリエの高野豊さんは「ことしは豊作。味に厚みと深さを感じる」と話した。

ただ、お祭り消費はかつてほど見込めない。酒類大手によると、今年のボージョレの輸入量は前年より8%減の720万本(750ミリリットル換算)の見込み。昨年の15%減に続く大幅減。ピークの2004年より4割強少ない。

チリ産やスペイン産など人気産地が多様化。「ワインが国内で日常的に飲まれるようになった」(メルシャン)影響もありそうだ。ワイン全体の近年の売り上げは右肩上がり。13年の国内市場は4・7億本で04年より4割多い。

ディスカウントストア大手ドン・キホーテの最安値は、500ミリリットル入りで500円(税抜き)。サイズが違うため直接は比べられないが、円安の影響もあって昨年より若干の実質値上げになっている。

This wine was produced during WWII -- before the outbreak of phylloxera -- and only 600 bottles were created. Quite a rare wine, a U.S. collector paid $123,900 for this bottle. It was sold in record breaking time at Christie\'s fine-wine auction.
1787 Chateau Lafite: $160,000 (09 of12)

Sold in 1985 to Malcolm Forbes, this bottle was said to be a part of Thomas Jefferson\'s collection and features his initials on the bottle. Forbes paid $160,000 for it, which today equates to about $315,000. This wine is no longer drinkable, and was purchased solely as a collectors item.\r\n\r\n
