［上海 ２５日 ロイター］ - 中国の張高麗副首相は、北京でアジア太平洋経済協力会議（ＡＰＥＣ）首脳会議などを開く１１月７―１１日の期間中、大気汚染緩和のため周辺工場を一時的に操業停止させる意向を明らかにした。
国営通信の新華社が２４日付で伝えた。
北京はこのところ厚いスモッグに覆われる日が続いており、ＡＰＥＣ首脳会議に向けて強力な措置が必要と判断したとみられる。
北京を含む中国北部地域では冬に向けての気温低下で石炭暖房のシーズンに入りつつあるが、張副首相はＡＰＥＣ期間中の大気汚染緩和を「最優先」として、「万難を排して」取り組まねばならないと語ったという。
また車両通行規制も厳格に実施する方針も示し、住民は出来る限り公共交通機関を利用するよう呼びかけた。
中国政府は、交通渋滞と大気汚染緩和のために北京市内の公的機関をＡＰＥＣ期間中の６日間臨時休業とすることを決めている。
