テロ警戒で厳戒態勢が続くベルギーの首都ブリュッセル。22日には一斉摘発があり、16人の身柄が拘束された

スティーブン・ヴァンデプット国防相は11月22日、以下のようにツイートし、国民的な協力を呼びかけた。

警察は自分たちの動きをソーシャルメディアに投稿しないよう求めています。ご協力とRTよろしくお願いします。

これに対し、ハッシュタグの #BrusselsLockdown(ブリュッセル封鎖)は、猫の画像を投稿する人であふれた。

警察は23日、キャットフードの画像を投稿し、協力に謝意を表明した。
