ビル・クリントン元アメリカ大統領と、ヒラリー・クリントン前国務長官夫妻に初孫が誕生した。
二人の一人娘であるチェルシー・クリントンさんが9月28日、女児を出産したことをTwitterで明らかにした。チェルシーさんは26日に出産し、赤ちゃんをシャーロットと名付けたという。
28日にはヒラリー氏も娘が出産した事を報告。
そのすぐ後に、ビル・クリントン元大統領も、ヒラリー氏と共に初孫を前にメロメロになっている写真を投稿した。
