中央アジア・キルギスの首都ビシケク近郊のダチ・スー村で１月16日、トルコの貨物機が墜落し、乗員4人と村の住民を含む、少なくとも37人が死亡した。今後死者数が増える恐れもある。
ロイター通信によると、貨物機はトルコのACTエアラインズのボーイング747型機で、香港から給油でビシケクを経由し、トルコ最大の都市イスタンブールに向かう予定だった。
キルギスの非常事態省によると、ビシケク近郊のマナス国際空港に着陸しようとしたところ、濃霧だったために墜落したとみられる。貨物機は村の家屋を直撃し、およそ30棟が破壊されたという。
キルギスのムハメタカリ・アブルガジエフ副首相は、「操縦ミス」との見方を示した。
住民のアナルカン・コゾイェワさんは「今1人っきりです。近所の人たちはみんな死んでしまいました」と語った。「私たちの家は、貨物機が墜落した場所から20メートルくらいの場所でした」
キルギスの政府高官は、航空局の職員とトルコの当局者が16日に現地に合流し、検証を行っていると話した。
