［ボストン ８日 ロイター］ - ２０１３年に起きたボストン・マラソン爆破事件で、ボストン連邦地裁の陪審は８日、実行犯とされるチェチェン系のジョハル・ツァルナエフ被告（２１）に有罪評決を下した。
この事件では、圧力鍋を使った爆発物を同被告とその兄が爆発させ、８歳児を含む３人が死亡、２６４人が負傷した。同被告は３０の罪に問われ、そのすべてで有罪と判断された。
ツァルナエフ被告には、逃走中に警官１人を射殺した罪でも有罪評決が出された。
量刑に関しては、陪審が死刑と終身刑のどちらが妥当かを判断するための審理が来週にも始まる。
