CNNトルコ支局のFacebookでは、当時の模様を動画で伝えている。37:10頃からスタジオの様子が映っている。

■トルコ国営放送、一時占拠も放送再開

トルコの国営テレビTRTも、軍に一時占拠されたとみられる。ロイターによると、軍が全権を掌握したと伝えられた後、国営テレビTRTのアナウンサーは15日、軍の命令を受けて「トルコ全土で戒厳令が敷かれ、外出禁止令も出された」と軍の声明を読み上げた。

またアナウンサーは、「トルコは現在、平和評議会(peace council)が掌握、公共の秩序が損なわれる事態は認めない」とクーデター勢力の声明を伝えていた。TRTはその後、放送を中断していた。

放送中断からおよそ2時間後の日本時間午前9時前、TRTはスタジオには国旗を持った大勢の人が詰めかけた様子を伝え、放送を再開した。

再開された放送の中では、「市民」の代表を名乗る男性が「TRTも国会議事堂も国民のものである。国民全体で取り戻そう」と、軍のクーデターに反対するよう声を張り上げて呼びかけた。

NHKニュースによると、軍の声明を読み上げた女性アナウンサーも登場し、大勢の人が放送局のスタジオに入ってきたことについて「彼らは損害を与えないと言ってスタジオに入ってきた」と話した。また軍の声明を読み上げたことについては、「武器を持った軍に脅されて声明を読まされた」などと話し、すでに軍がTRTから退去したことをうかがわせた。TRTは、スタジオに大勢の人が入ったことを伝えた放送から約30分後、通常の放送に戻ったという。
