火災保険料 3〜5%値上げへ 台風などの自然災害増加で収支悪化

火災保険料が、2015年度にも3〜5%程度値上がりする見通しとなった。すべての建物について値上げが行われるのは、1998年の保険料自由化以来初めてのことだという。

2013年は9月にも4個の台風が日本へ接近し、台風27号と28号の接近で、10月の日本に接近した台風は6個と観測史上最高を記録したが、2012年も年間で17個の台風が接近したほか、ゲリラ豪雨、竜巻の発生など自然災害による被害が近年増加している。その影響で、保険金支払いが増え損害保険会社の収支が悪化しているためだ。朝日新聞デジタルが以下のように伝えている。

保険商品でいくら保険料をとるかは、第三者機関の「損害保険料率算出機構」が算出している。各社の保険の収支状況をもとに、毎年基準となる保険料率を見直している。この料率をもとに、損保各社が実際の保険料を決める仕組みだ。

同機構は今年11月末以降に決める火災保険の料率について、3~5%程度引きあげる方針を固めた。

機構は2014年春までに金融庁に改訂を届け出る。認められれば、2015年度にも損保各社が値上げを行う。

MSN産経ニュースによると、契約者は一戸建ての場合、年間1000円〜2000円前後、マンションの場合数百円前後の負担増になるとみられるという。

住宅向けの保険では、すでに地震保険の保険料も2014年の7月以降の新しい契約から全国平均15.5%引き上げられる見通しだ。これは1996年の阪神大震災以来18年ぶりのことだ。

来年度は消費税も8%に増税されるが、地震保険に加え、火災保険も値上げとなれば、家計への負担はさらに厳しくなりそうだ。
