ダイオウイカで巨大スルメは作れるのか　ギネスに挑戦した男たち【動画】

無謀だと分かっていても、人は挑戦してしまうものだ。11月に富山湾で水揚げされた長さ7mのダイオウイカを乾燥させて巨大スルメにするというプロジェクトに挑んだ男たちがいた。

無謀だと分かっていても、人は挑戦してしまうものだ。11月に富山湾で水揚げされた長さ7mのダイオウイカを乾燥させて巨大スルメにするというプロジェクトに挑んだ男たちがいた。

テレ朝ニュースの映像によると、この無謀とも思える行為に挑んだのは富山県射水（いみず）市の食品加工会社「浜常食品工業」。同社の濱力男社長は「だいぶ前から考えていたが生きたダイオウイカが手に入らなかった。ギネスに挑戦したい」と話していた。

幾多の困難を乗り越えて10日間に及ぶ乾燥の末、12月17日にはついに巨大スルメが完成した。2015年1月に新湊の市場に展示された後、試食会が行われる予定だという。
