ハリウッド版のゴジラ映画「GODZILLA」の新しい予告編が公開された。5月17日のアメリカ公開に続いて、日本では7月25日に公開予定だ。
日本版の公式サイトで公開されている予告編では、ゴジラは数秒間だけシルエットのみの登場だったが、新作の予告編でも、およそ2分30秒の映像の中でゴジラが登場したのはわずか2カット。そのうち表情が確認できたのは1カットのみで、新しいハリウッド版「GODZILLA」がどう描かれるのか、全貌は明らかにされていない。
2014年は、東宝が1954年にゴジラを製作・公開してから60周年を迎える年だ。そんな「ゴジライヤー」を祝して、YouTubeの東宝MOVIEチャンネルでは、日本で製作されたゴジラシリーズ全28作品の予告編を公開する。現在公開されているのは、1作目「ゴジラ」から22作目の「ゴジラVSデストロイア」まで。「ゴジラ2000-ミレニアム-」～「ゴジラ ファイナル ウォーズ」までの6作品も近日公開予定だ。
