ひまわり8号、リアルタイム画像をネットで公開　トリプル台風もくっきり

赤道上空の「ひまわり8号」が送ってきた最新画像をスマートフォン、タブレット、またはPCなどで自由に閲覧できる。タッチ操作による拡大縮小も思いのまま。台風などの気象現象を早送りの動画で見ることも可能だ。

新しい気象観測衛星「ひまわり8号」が、7月7日から運用開始された。これまで使っていた「ひまわり7号」に比べて、性能が格段に向上。解像度は2倍、カラー撮影も可能になった。

総務省所管の情報通信研究機構では、同日から「ひまわり8号リアルタイム画像Web」を公開した。赤道上空の「ひまわり8号」が送ってきた最新画像をスマートフォン、タブレット、またはPCなどで自由に閲覧できる。タッチ操作による拡大縮小も思いのまま。台風などの気象現象を早送りの動画で見ることも可能だ。

日本に接近している台風9号（チャンホン）、台風10号（リンファ）、台風11号（ナンカー）のトリプル台風もくっきりと捉えられている。
