だが、中国浙江省杭州市のアミューズメントパーク「宋城」で7月20日、それが実行された。
この日、中国全土から集まった旅行客が唐辛子大食い競争で争った。この競争では、暑さを吹き飛ばすちょっと変わったおまけがある。彼らは氷水の風呂の中に浸かっていたのだ。
猛暑日となった杭州では、挑戦者たちは氷水風呂のおかげで暑さと涼しさを同時に味わうことができた。
