「iPhone 6をポケットに入れたら変形した」報告相次ぐ

買ったばかりの「iPhone6」または「iPhone6 Plus」をポケットに入れて持ち歩いたところ、の本体が、わずかながら曲がって変形してしまったユーザーがいる模様だ。

Apple社製品の情報サイト「MacRumors」の記事によると、買ったばかりの「iPhone 6」または「iPhone 6 Plus」をポケットに入れて持ち歩いたところ、陽極酸化加工で仕上げられた美しいアルミニウムの本体が、わずかながら曲がってしてしまったユーザーがいる模様だ。

より薄くより、大きくなったiPhone 6は、力がかかると変形しやすいのだろうか。ハフポストUS版はApple社に説明を求めて連絡を取ったのだが、まだ回答は得られていない。

とはいえ、変形しやすいという苦情が話題になったのは、iPhone 6が初めてというわけではない。iPhone 5や5sのユーザーからも同様のクレームが寄せられたほか、Androidユーザーからも同様の報告があった（リンク先は2012年の掲示板）。

永遠に曲がってしまったのにちゃんと機能するなんて、わたしくらいしかできないワザかも。

では、どうしたらいいのだろうか。「MacRumors」は、理にかなったアドバイスを紹介している。どうしてもポケットに入れて持ち歩きたいし、座ったり腰を曲げたりせざるを得ないという人なら、解決策はこれしかないだろう。

「どうしてもポケットに入れたいなら」と、同サイトのケリー・ホッジキンス氏は述べている。「（動きに合わせて）スマートフォンが中で移動できるよう、もっと余裕のあるポケットの服を着るのがいいかもしれません」
