イラクの過激派ISIS、イスラム国家の樹立を宣言

イラクとシリアで勢力を拡大しているイスラム教スンニ派の過激組織が29日、「カリフ(預言者ムハンマドの後継者)」を指導者とするイスラム国家を樹立すると一方的に宣言。世界中のイスラム教徒に忠誠を呼びかけた。

イラクとシリアで勢力を拡大しているイスラム教スンニ派の過激組織が29日、「カリフ(預言者ムハンマドの後継者)」を指導者とするイスラム国家を樹立すると一方的に宣言。世界中のイスラム教徒に忠誠を呼びかけた。

この組織は、国際組織アルカイダから派生し、「第2のビンラディン」とも称されるバグダディ容疑者が率いている。「イラクとレバントのイスラム国(ISIL)」または「イラクとシリアのイスラム国(ISIS)」という名前で呼ばれてきたが、バグダディ容疑者を「カリフ」とするイスラム国家樹立の宣言とともに、組織の名称も単なる「イスラム国」に改めた。

ウェブサイトやツイッターを通じて出した声明で、同組織は「(バグダディ容疑者に)忠誠を誓うのはすべてのイスラム教徒に課された義務だ」としている。

同組織は先月にイラク第2の都市モスルを掌握して以降、首都バグダッドに向け進攻を続けているが、人権団体からは、北部ティクリートで集団処刑を行ったなどとして非難されている。

米国のシンクタンク、ブルッキングス研究所ドーハセンターの客員研究員チャールズ・リスター氏は、イスラム国家樹立宣言について、「正当性に関してどんな判断がなされるにしろ、(米同時多発攻撃の)9・11以降、世界的なイスラム聖戦主義としては最も大きな出来事だ」と指摘。「アルカイダ系や独立系のイスラム聖戦組織は『イスラム国』を支持するか反対するかはっきり選択しなくてはならくなったため、宣言の影響は世界的なものになる」と述べた。[ベイルート 29日 ロイター]
