イラクの女性国会議員が議会で必死の訴え「ISISが市民を虐殺している」

ヤズィーディー教を信仰するイラク国民議会のフィヤン・ダキー議員は8月5日(現地時間)、国会で感情を交えて次のように訴えた。「ヤズィーディー教徒たちに対する虐殺は、現在も進行しています。今まさに私の家族が虐殺されようとしているのです」

現地の報道によると、イラクの少数民族である「ヤズィーディー教を信仰するクルド人」たちが、イラクとシリアで活動するイスラム過激派組織「ISIS」(イスラム国)からの迫害を受け、現在多数がイラク北部の山岳地域に追いやられている。ISISはこの民族に対し、男性は斬首刑、女性には強制売春を強要しているという。

ヤズィーディー教は、ゾロアスター教の流れを受け継ぐ古代ペルシャから続く宗教であり、サダム・フセイン政権時代から、一部のイスラム教徒からは「悪魔の崇拝者」と呼ばれたこともあった。

ISISは支配地域を拡大しており、2014年8月はじめには、クルド人が暮らす多数の町と、イラク北部のシンジャールという町の大部分を掌握した(国内最大のダムや油田も制圧した。ISISは勢力を広げる過程で大量の公開処刑などを行っており、アルカイダからも「過激すぎる」として非難されている(日本語版記事)。

ブルームバーグの記事によると、この事態に対し、ヤズィーディー教を信仰するイラク国民議会のフィヤン・ダキー議員は8月5日、国会で感情を交えて次のように訴えた(冒頭の動画)。「ヤズィーディー教徒たちに対する虐殺は、現在も進行しています。今まさに私の家族が虐殺されようとしているのです。私の家族が虐殺されようとしているのです」

「女性たちは、愛人になるよう強要され、人身売買の犠牲になっています。どうか我々を救って下さい」

ダキー議員によると、3万世帯が過激派勢力からの避難を余儀なくされたが、水と食料がない状態が48時間経過しており、70人の子供と、50人の高齢者が、潜伏生活による飲み水の不足と疲労のために死亡しているという。

さらに同議員は、「現在までに500人以上の男性が、ISISにより処刑されました」と目に涙を浮かべながら訴えた。「この地球上から、ひとつの宗教が根絶されようとしているのです。同胞のみなさん、私は人類のために訴えます。どうか我々を救って下さい」

「ヤズィーディーと連帯する同胞組織」( Solidarity and Brotherhood Yezidi Organization)のホウサム・サリム責任者も、ブルームバーグに対して、「男性は街頭で処刑され、女性は誘拐され性的に暴行されている。男性は捕まればすぐに殺される」と訴えている

モスルの西にあるシェナル地域で、ヤズィーディー教徒たちが逃亡しているところ。

山岳部に逃げたたくさんの女性や子供たちが、飢えと渇きで死亡したと伝えられている。

町を避難した家族たちは、現在早急な援助を必要としている。シンジャール周辺の山岳地帯に取り残されている子供の数は2万5000人に上り、飲料水や衛生面などの支援を早急に行う必要があると見られている。UNICEF(国連児童基金)も、支援を求める声明を発表している
