ジャカルタ繁華街で爆発・銃撃戦、7人死亡 「イスラム国」が犯行声明【UPDATE】

1月14日、インドネシアの首都ジャカルタの中心部で複数回の爆発音が聞こえた。CNNによると、警察署やスターバックスコーヒーで何者かが手投げ弾を爆発させ、警察が銃撃戦となった。

AP通信は、襲撃犯が鎮圧されたと速報した。警察の報道担当者は「サリナ地区周辺にこれ以上の襲撃犯はいない。鎮圧した」と宣言した。

AP通信によれば、死者は襲撃犯5人とそれ以外の2人。過激派組織IS(イスラム国)が14日、犯行声明をネット上に公開した。声明は「ISインドネシア支部」の名で、「十字軍とその警護を担う約15人を殺害した」などと主張。外国人や警察を狙った犯行だったことを示唆した。警察は、IS支持者によるテロの可能性が高いとみて捜査している。

インドネシアのジョコ・ウィドド大統領はテレビに出演し、爆発が「テロによるもの」と断定。「我が国と国民は恐れない。このようなテロに屈することはなく、国民が冷静であることを望んでいる」と述べた

爆発は計6回、国連事務所から約50メートルの場所で起きた。

「ライフルを担いだ6人がバイクに乗って繁華街にやってきて、群衆を銃撃した。爆発物のようなものも持っていた」とアルジャジーラの記者は証言した。警察は現場周辺を立ち入り禁止にしているが、襲撃犯のうち数人は、爆発現場近くのビルに立てこもり、警察が捜索していた

CNNによると、襲撃された1カ所は警察署で、繁華街のサリナ地区にあるショッピングセンター「サリナ・タムリン・プラザ」に隣接している。襲撃犯は手投げ弾を使い、警察と銃撃戦になった。

「スカイライン・ビル」の近くにあるスターバックスコーヒーの店も襲撃されたとみられる。AP通信によると、客1人が負傷したが、従業員は無事だった。

Twitterに投稿された動画は、サリナ地区の喫茶店の外で爆発が起きた様子をとらえている。

ジャカルタのアメリカ大使館は、「状況はいまだ不明確」として、アメリカ人にジャカルタ中心部から避難するよう呼びかけた。

インドネシアでは、2009年にも市内の複数の高級ホテルで同時発生的に爆発が起こり、7人が死亡している

国民の8割以上がイスラム教徒のインドネシアでは、ISに同調してイラクやシリアなどで戦闘に加わり、戦闘訓練を積んでインドネシアに戻る人々が相次ぎ、大きな社会問題になっている。インドネシア軍は最近、東部でISを支持する過激派組織の掃討作戦を展開しており、警察は報復のテロを警戒していた。
