天皇陛下、新年のご感想全文「歴史を学ぶことが大切」

天皇陛下が2015年の年頭にあたり、所感を公表。また、宮内庁は天皇・皇后両陛下が2014年に詠まれた歌を3首ずつ発表した。歌に込められた意味とは。

天皇陛下は1月1日、2015年の年頭にあたり、宮内庁を通じて文書で所感を公表した。今年は戦後70年の節目に当たることから、「この機会に、満州事変に始まるこの戦争の歴史を十分に学び、今後の日本のあり方を考えていくことが、今、極めて大切なことだと思っています」とつづった。

また、宮内庁は新年にあたり、天皇・皇后両陛下が2014年に詠まれた歌を3首ずつ発表した。2014の1年間で、印象に残ったことを詠んだ歌だが、天皇陛下は歌にも、戦後の思いを寄せた。

以下に、感想と歌を紹介する。

■天皇陛下のご感想(新年に当たり)

昨年は大雪や大雨、さらに御嶽山の噴火による災害で多くの人命が失われ、家族や住む家をなくした人々の気持ちを察しています。

また、東日本大震災からは4度目の冬になり,放射能汚染により、かつて住んだ土地に戻れずにいる人々や仮設住宅で厳しい冬を過ごす人々もいまだ多いことも案じられます。昨今の状況を思う時、それぞれの地域で人々が防災に関心を寄せ、地域を守っていくことが、いかに重要かということを感じています。

本年は終戦から70年という節目の年に当たります。多くの人々が亡くなった戦争でした。各戦場で亡くなった人々、広島、長崎の原爆、東京を始めとする各都市の爆撃などにより亡くなった人々の数は誠に多いものでした。この機会に、満州事変に始まるこの戦争の歴史を十分に学び、今後の日本のあり方を考えていくことが、今、極めて大切なことだと思っています。

この1年が、我が国の人々、そして世界の人々にとり、幸せな年となることを心より祈ります。

■天皇陛下 三首

《神宮参拝》

あまたなる人らの支へ思ひつつ白木の冴ゆる新宮(にひみや)に詣づ

天皇皇后両陛下は、2014年3月、昨年式年遷宮を終えた神宮を御参拝になった。この歌は、御参拝に際しお感じになった式年遷宮に尽力した多くの人々への感謝のお気持ちをお詠みになったもの。

《来たる年が原子爆弾による被災より七十年経つを思ひて》

爆心地の碑に白菊を供へたり忘れざらめや往(い)にし彼(か)の日を

天皇皇后両陛下は、2014年10月、第69回国民体育大会御臨場等のための長崎県行幸啓の折、原子爆弾の爆心地に建立された碑に御供花になった。この歌は、来年が原爆による被災から七十年を迎える節目の年であることに思いを致され、原爆の惨禍を忘れてはならないとのお気持ちを込めて御供花になったことをお詠みになったもの。

《広島市の被災地を訪れて》

いかばかり水流は強くありしならむ木々なぎ倒されし一すぢの道

天皇皇后両陛下は、2014年12月、同年8月に発生した豪雨災害による被災地お見舞い等のため広島県を御訪問になった。この歌は、広島市安佐南区の被災現場を御視察になり、甚大な被害をもたらした水の流れのすさまじさをお感じになってお詠みになったもの。

■皇后陛下 三首

《ソチ五輪》

「己(おの)が日」を持ち得ざりしも数多(あまた)ありてソチ・オリンピック後半に入る

2014年二月、ロシア連邦のソチにおいて開催されたオリンピック冬季競技大会で、オリンピックを「自分の日」にはできず敗れ去っていった多くの選手たちの様子を目にされての歌。

《宜仁親王薨去》

み歎きはいかありしならむ父宮は皇子(みこ)の御肩(おんかた)に触れまししとふ

宜仁親王殿下には、2014年6月8日、薨去された。この御歌は、御舟入(一般の納棺に当たる儀式)の際に三笠宮殿下が宜仁親王殿下のお肩にお触れになったことをお聞きになり、御子若宮をお失いになった三笠宮殿下の深いお悲しみをお思いになってお詠みになったもの。

《学童疎開船対馬丸(つしままる)》

我もまた近き齢(よはひ)にありしかば沁(し)みて悲しく対馬丸思ふ

2014年6月、天皇皇后両陛下は、先の大戦で撃沈された学童疎開船「対馬丸」の犠牲者慰霊のため、沖縄県を御訪問になった。対馬丸の犠牲者の多くが御自身と同じ年代の子どもたちであったことをとりわけ悲しくお感じになりお詠みになっている。
