マレーシアで殺害された金正男氏について、北朝鮮政府は遺体の即時引き渡しを求めた。死因は「心臓発作だと聞いた」と主張。「人権侵害だ」とマレーシア側を非難した。

マレーシア駐在の北朝鮮大使、カン・チョル氏は2月17日、金正男氏の遺体が安置されているクアラルンプールの病院を訪れ、報道陣の取材に答えた。カン氏は死因を「心臓発作だと伝えられている」と主張、「我が国の敵対勢力と結託し、悪意を持って我が国に危害を加えようとしている」と批判し、解剖結果を「拒否する」と述べた。

これに対し、マレーシアの警察の長官は「引き渡しには確認の手続きが必要で、無関係の相手には引き渡せない。家族が誰も名乗り出なければ、適当な処置を執る」と述べ、金正男氏の家族からDNAのサンプルが提供されない限り、遺体の引き渡しには応じないとしている

現地紙「スター・オンライン」が伝えたカン大使の発言全文は以下の通り。

マレーシア側は当初、我が国の大使館に、朝鮮民主主義人民共和国(DPRK)の国民が救急車でプトラジャヤ病院に運ばれる途中、心臓発作で死亡したとして、国民であることの確認を求めた。我々は確認した。

そしてマレーシア側は死体解剖を求めたが、我々は拒否した。なぜなら彼は外交官のパスポートを持っている我が国の国民であり、DPRKの領事の保護下にあったからだ。

しかし、マレーシア側は解剖は我々の許可と立ち会いなく解剖に踏み切った。我々の立ち会いなしに行われた解剖の結果は、無条件に拒否する。

これは人権侵害の最たるものであり、我が国民に対し、基本的な国際法と領事関係法を無視するものである。

解剖終了後、マレーシアの警察は、我々が所定の書類を提出すれば遺体は不要なので返還すると伝え、我々はそれに従った。

しかしマレーシア側は1日たっても何の返答もよこさない。

今日、私はマレーシア警察の高官と面会し、これ以上遅らせることなく遺体を返還するよう強く求めたが、高官は死因と何の関係もない問題を持ち出してこれを拒否した。

これはマレーシア側が何かを隠蔽し、さらに時間をかけて我々をだまそうとしている。そしてマレーシアは我が国の敵対勢力と結託し、悪意を持って我が国に危害を加えようとしていることを強く示唆するものだ。

我々は、マレーシア側が誰かからそうしろと頼まれたのではないかと疑っている。

南朝鮮(韓国)の傀儡政権は史上最大の政治スキャンダルで国を捨てて逃げだそうとしている。大衆の意志を歪曲し、今回の事件でDPRKのイメージを悪化させようと姑息な手段に出ている。

南朝鮮人民も今回の事件は、保守権力が朴槿恵政権を救い、国内外で強い反対に直面しているミサイル防衛システムを強行するための地ならしだと疑っている。

そのため、我々はマレーシア側に対し、敵対勢力の政治的な陰謀に巻き込まれることなく、速やかに遺体と解剖結果を引き渡すよう強く求める。

我々は今回の事件を深刻に受け止めている。我が共和国に敵対する勢力と結託して行ったすべての行動を、我々は許さない。

我々に敵対する勢力が、今回の事件を政治化して、我が共和国の印象に泥を塗ろうとする動きには、国際司法裁判所への提訴によって強く対抗する。
