木原稔・自民青年局長を更迭へ 「報道規制」発言の勉強会代表

自民党は27日、「報道規制」発言で党内外から批判が集中した勉強会の代表を務める木原稔・党青年局長を更送する方針を固めた。

自民党の若手議員による勉強会「文化芸術懇話会」で、沖縄の地元紙をはじめ報道機関に圧力を求める発言が出た問題で、同党は6月27日、会の代表を務める木原稔・党青年局長を更迭する方針を固めた。世論の批判が強く、安全保障関連法案の審議への影響を懸念し、早期に事態収拾を図る必要があると判断した模様だ。党幹部の話として、時事ドットコムなどが報じた。

この党幹部は「党が報道規制すべきだという見解を持っているとの誤解を与えた」と理由を説明。木原氏更迭で問題の早期収拾を図りたい考えだ。

木原氏が代表を務める会は「文化芸術懇話会」で、安倍晋三首相に近い議員が集まる。25日の初会合では、講師に招いた作家の百田尚樹氏が「沖縄の二つの新聞はつぶさなあかん」などと発言。問題が表面化した26日、党執行部は木原氏から事情を聴取、注意していた。

党幹部によると、谷垣禎一幹事長と高村正彦副総裁、佐藤勉国対委員長らが協議した。党幹部は「安保法案の確実な成立を図るため国会を大幅延長した直後に、不用意な会合で党の信頼を損なった責任は免れない」と指摘したという。

25日の勉強会では、出席議員から「マスコミを懲らしめるには広告料収入がなくなるのが一番」などと政権に批判的な言論を封じるような声が出た。

安保関連法案を審議する衆院平和安全法制特別委員会で26日、野党が追及した。これを受け、自民の佐藤氏が26日に木原氏を呼び、「審議に迷惑をかけている。反省を」と注意。木原氏は報道陣に「後ろから鉄砲(を撃った)と言われても仕方ない」と語っていた

勉強会は、木原氏ら安倍首相に近い議員が9月の党総裁選に向け、首相を側面支援する狙いで設置した。首相は26日の衆院特別委で、関係者の処分について否定的な見解を示していた。

木原氏は、勉強会に百田氏を招いたことについて、自身のFacebookで「政治家はリアリティを持って、言葉を大切に発信力を強化すべきと学ばせていただきました」などと記していた
