【金ハンソル氏とは】金正男氏の息子、暗殺警戒してイギリス留学を断念

殺害された金正男氏の息子が、「北朝鮮が暗殺を企てている」として中国にとどまるべきだとの忠告を受け、予定していた英留学を諦めていたと、英大衆紙が伝えた。

北朝鮮の金正男氏殺害に絡み、イギリスの大衆紙メール・オン・サンデー(電子版)は2月19日、正男氏の息子の金ハンソル氏(21)が、事件のかなり前に中国当局から北朝鮮工作員による暗殺の危険性を警告され、イギリスの名門オックスフォード大学大学院への進学を断念していたと報じた。

同紙などによると、ハンソル氏は平壌で生まれ、マカオの国際学校を経て、2013年、ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナのインターナショナル・スクールを卒業し、フランス屈指のエリート校「パリ政治学院」で3年間、政治学を学んだ。その後、オックスフォード大学大学院の入学許可を得て、恋人ソニアさんと共に2016年9月に進学する予定だった。ソニアさんは現在、同大学院に通っているという。

しかし、イギリスに渡る前、中国当局から、金正恩・朝鮮労働党委員長が正男氏とハンソル氏の暗殺を企てていると知らされ、中国と特別行政区マカオの外に出ないよう警告を受けた。これを受けてハンソル氏は留学を諦め、家族が暮らすマカオにとどまった。一方、正男氏は警告に従わなかったとみられ、渡航先のクアラルンプール国際空港で殺害された。

中国筋はメール・オン・サンデーに対し「北朝鮮が政治的な理由から中国に工作員を送るのを渋るためだ」と話したという。

ハンソル氏は18日時点で、中国当局の保護下で母親と妹(18)と一緒にマカオの集合住宅で暮らしている。近隣住民は、正男氏暗殺の少なくとも3カ月前から、武装警官が警備を強化していたと証言したという。

父子は北朝鮮の「建国の父」である金日成主席の直系子孫のため、金正恩体制が崩壊した場合には後継に立てられる可能性があった。

韓国の東亜日報は、ハンソル氏について「ソーシャル・ネットワーク・サービス(SNS)で『民主主義を好む』と明らかにするなど、北朝鮮体制に反対する考えを示し、2012年10月にあるインタビューでは叔父である北朝鮮の金正恩労働党委員長を『独裁者(dictator)』と表現した」と紹介している。
