女優の北川景子（29）が10月10日、公式ブログを更新し、交際中のタレント・DAIGO（37）との結婚報道に「私から申し上げられることが何も無い状況」などとつづった。
2人の結婚報道は8日、サンスポなどが報じた。DAIGOが8月22日、日テレ系「24時間テレビ」のチャリティーマラソンで100キロを完走した直後にプロポーズし、結婚は2016年1月になるのではないかと報じていた。
この報道に、北川は「正直なところ、私自身とても驚いています」と心境を告白。「私から申し上げられることが何も無い状況で、このようにお騒がせしてしまったこと、歯がゆく思います」としている。
さらに、「以前からファンの皆様とお約束していることでもありますが、何かお話しできるようになりましたら、私の口から説明させて頂きます」と続け、理解を求めた。
なお、ブログで北川は、父母の故郷である滋賀県彦根市や香川県などにでかけ、墓参りをしたり親戚と話をしたりしたと近況を報告している。
