高さ10メートル、レゴのクリスマスツリーはこうやってつくられた【画像・動画】

レゴでできた高さ10メートルのクリスマスツリーがお目見えした。製作過程の様子が動画で公開されている。

レゴでできた高さ10メートルのクリスマスツリーが、11月27日、オーストラリア・シドニーの中心部にお目見えした。製作時間は1200時間。サーフボードを抱えたリアルサイズのサンタクロースが側に立ち、枝にコアラがしがみつくという、夏にクリスマスを迎えるオーストラリアならではのデザインだ。シドニー・モーニング・ヘラルドなどが報じた。

担当者によると、製作には約6カ月を費やしており、3.5トンのレゴが使われているという。「ツリーには秘密が隠されているから、よく見てほしい」と担当者は述べた。

この日の夜、ツリーにはライトが点灯。12月26日まで、毎夜ライトアップショーが行われる予定だ。
