副操縦士の意図的な操作でフランス南部に墜落したジャーマンウィングス機の事件で、回収されたボイスレコーダーには、最後の瞬間の会話が残されていた。ドイツのビルト紙が3月29日付けで伝えた。この事件では、乗員乗客150人が死亡している。
アンドレアス・ルビッツ副操縦士（27）は離陸後、機長がトイレに行くために操縦席を出ると、内側から鍵を閉めたという。
閉め出されたと気づいた機長が「頼むからドアを開けてくれ！」と叫んだ。同時にドアを蹴ったり、体当たりしたりした様子がうかがえる。背後には乗客の悲鳴らしき声も聞こえるという。
同１０時３５分、何かでドアを激しくたたく金属音が響いた。機内に設置されている非常用のおのを使ったとみられる。この時点で高度７千メートル。約９０秒後、警告音が機内に鳴った。「このクソドアを開けろ！」。機長は再び副操縦士に怒鳴った。
それでも、副操縦士は無言のままだった。同１０時４０分、「機体の右翼が山肌にぶつかった」（関係者）とみられる衝撃音が響いた。再び乗客の叫び声が聞こえ、最後の記録となった。

さらにビルトでは、ルビッツ副操縦士が視力の悪化で治療を受けており、網膜剥離を患っていた可能性も示唆している。
ルビッツ氏を巡っては、ドイツ・デュッセルドルフのアパートで同居していた交際相手が妊娠をしている可能性や、「自分の名を知らしめてやる」と元交際相手に伝えていたことなど、徐々に状況が明らかになりつつある。
