アメリカ・大リーグ、ヤンキースの田中将大投手（25）が5月20日、シカゴであった交流戦のカブス戦でメジャー初黒星を喫し、日本プロ野球の楽天時代から続けていたレギュラーシーズンでの日米連勝記録が34でストップした。田中が敗戦投手になるのは、2012年8月19日の西武戦以来。
田中は6回8安打4失点で大リーグで初めての敗戦投手となり、開幕からの連勝は6でストップした。毎日新聞などが報じた。
米大リーグ、ヤンキースの田中将大（２５）は２０日、当地で行われた交流戦のカブス戦に先発。６回８安打４失点で大リーグで初めての負け投手となり、開幕からの連勝は６でストップした。
田中は降雨の影響もあって精彩を欠き、三回に先制点を許すと、四回に1点、六回にも2点を失ってマウンドを降りた。チームは1−6で敗れた。
