(360度動画)被災地は「2カ月経ってもこんな状況」北川義樹さん【熊本地震・益城町】

一連の熊本地震の発生から、6月14日で約2カ月が経った。都内でクラシック音楽の企画などを手がけるプロデューサー、北川義樹さん(31)は、被害が大きかった益城町の360度動画を撮影し、6月9日に、Facebookページ「体験空間設計」で公開した。ハフポスト日本版は幼少期を熊本市などで過ごしたという北川さんに、映像に込めた思いなどについて聞いた。

――撮影されたのはいつ、どこででしょうか?

6月6日です。東京で働いているので震災の直後は行けず、今回が初めての被災地入りでした。今実家があるのは熊本県合志市ですが、実家の被害は少なく、両親も無事でした。被害が一番ひどかった、益城町の撮影をしようと決めました。上の映像は益城町木山から県道28号線を西に向かい、左折して南に向かう車載カメラからの映像です。定点撮影したものもあります。すべて最も被害が甚大だった益城町木山地区周辺です。

――どうして撮影に行かれたのでしょうか?

何かしら自分ができることはないかなという思いですね。直接の死者が49人だったこともあって東京では報道も少なくなっていますし、正直なところ関心は薄れていってると思っています。東日本大震災の時には、自分も2011年4月という直後の時期にボランティア活動に出かけて、力仕事のようなこともしました。でも今回は、やっぱりもっと、今自分だからこそできることがないか?と考えました。自分が仕事などで制作している360度動画の撮影をして、臨場感ある映像を通して、現状を伝えようと思いました。

――実際に行ってみてどんなことを考えましたか?

震災から2カ月近く経ち、自分の中でも多少は「大丈夫なんだろうな」という気持ちもありました。でも行ってみたら全然違っていました。被害がひどかったところ、そうではないところありましたが、ひどいところはまるで空襲を落とされたかのように家が壊れていて、町全体がまだまだ壊滅状態でした。

――映像を通じて伝えたいことは

募金で集まった金額なども十分ではないと聞きます。まずは「まだこんなにひどいんだね」と知ってほしい。そして、募金などの次のアクションにつなげたいと思いました。最近は北海道でも地震がありましたが、震災っていつどこに来るのかわからない。いつ誰が被災者になるかわからない。目に見えづらい被災地を見てもらって、自分ごととして捉えてみんなで助け合ってオールジャパンで解決していく、そういう状況が作れればいいなと思います。
